I agree! But Debo and Feist looked very promising as true freshman. Some things just don't make sense. Just saying! I am sure the coaches know things we don't. The running backs averaged over 5 yards a carry against Bama. But when you can't their offense off the field and LES makes his adjustments at half time. Run ,run and third and forever pass, The team just looks lost.

I just have to believe there's a legit reason for the LB lineup. Maybe someone could ask Les about this at the next radio show.

Beckwith is probably a 3 year player anyway so I doubt it matters we burned his redshirt.

I honestly don't remember Feist doing anything but looking lost for those plays he got in vs. UF last yr. not saying he won't get better (Minter looked lost when he got in his 1st game, and he'd had a RS yr, shite happens), but he was just kinda "there".

I was wondering that too.

That big cat drill with him and Hilliard, I think it was last season, was insane.

Maclin hurt his knee late last yr and was part of the reason we were so thin at DE in the spring.

Ummm what? Go watch the last two series of the Ole Miss game. People who say they trust the coaches with players...I'm sorry but you don't have a MLB play 3 1/2 quarters then not trust him to go out for the final 2. And on those series Louis made a couple of great plays.

Give me Louis literally any day of the week over Welter. I'd rather Tre White at Mike.

My God enough with the Welter bashing please!!! This subject is just so overdone it is fricking pathetic. So many of you clowns act as if you have played/coached and are so much better at talent evaluation than our coaches. If someone was better don't you think the coaches would put him in? This ain't rocket science guys. Welter is the best the coaches think they have at the position, whether they be right or not, and I'm sure he is doing his best. So, please for the sake of all that is holy give it a rest. And if you can't and think you can do better then walk-on next year and let us all see how great and wonderful you are.

Haha. That was not a lovefest for Welter by any means, just that the bitching about and downing that guy on here has become old and disgusting. BTW, you must be a Rant HOFer with your witty reply.

Welter sucks, but honestly, they all suck. Barrow whiffs more than Jose Canseco....

Alexander is serviceable...and that is about it. Louis made a play or two, but not consistent and he has been in quite a bit.

The only LB I have seen play the run well is Beckwith...and we benched him after he looked pretty good.

Once again Welter is bad, but no one has separated themselves as a good LB. It is kinda sad what Barrow really is with Minter gone.

Beckwith

Wish he could have taken over at the start of the season and got experience for next year.

This coaching staff never seems to have a plan for players. Not much they do makes a whole lot of sense I find.
