Scout is reporting another OL at WM that is 6'5 315 and supposedly looks better and plays about as good as CR.

So, that's why he transferred to West Monroe his SENIOR year.....cause he and Sims are tight??? Yeah, that makes sense.

Funny how the transfer wasn't to Wossman, Carroll, West Ouachita, Richwood, etc. etc. etc. Just coincidence......

This isn't the first time LSU has missed a recruit because they didn't offer someone else. They turned down Denzel Nkemdeche knowing his younger brother Robert was probably going to follow him to college. Now it's the same thing with Sims and C Rob. The fact is, both Sims and the older Nkemdeche projected as lesser players, and the class sizes are capped. If you take someone who will never play a down for every top flight starter you are looking at 12 man classes. Ole Miss can afford to gamble like that, and this year Bama has the extra scholly (which tells you a lot about their class this year). LSU doesn't have the spot open. This isn't a sign of recruiting incompetence, it's a sign we are recruiting so well our offers are a limited and precious commodity.

How many catches did Sims have against the 2 best teams they played (Neville and West Monroe)? He was a non factor in both games.

I understand the position of not wasting a scholly nowadays on package deals and such but if LSU was truly full at WR, how come they offered the 6'7" kid from Texas last month? I realize he's a bit tall and may switch to tight end but wouldn't offering this scholly to Sims instead of a kid that's likely a project as well make more sense?

So basically, we're saying every other commitment we have is better than Cam Sims? Even the 2nd string kicker? We wouldn't trade a 2nd string kicker for a 4* receiver and a 5* left tackle?

ZOMG...

this is the biggest complaint i have with miles & staff. why did bama figure out that Landon Collins gf was the right button to push to get him to bama. Bama knew that Sims was a great avenue to get CRob to bama, and they went full tilt into it.

Seems like the staff is resting on their "play for the state" laurels. Need to step up our game.

Sims will transfer to John Curtis for summer school and magically qualify.

How can anyone justify not offering Sims? Not offering Sims was insane. I am not going to call out players but you can just look at the roster and see that the staff is not nailing every evaluation. Some of the missed evaluations were camp guys at that. There is no excuse not to nail down the state in a year like this.

Sims has talent and the staff's recruiting record in North LA is a mixed bag; therefore, you offer the guy.

Cam Robinson is FOS! I do not believe a thing that liar says. He is so close to his buddy he abandoned him in high school. I cannot believe anyone would comment on a thing he says. Some of you really need to use some common sense. Please!

Wouldn't want a waste of a scholarship like Sims even if it got us Robinson.
