Friend got a new camera, we wanted to shoot. This is a point and shoot sony by the way. By the way, I dont care for groups or anything, but if anyone wants to count this was part of a 3 shot group, measuring .479" or as most calculate a .215" group.
I was shooting a smack the smiley target.
Visit them and shoot the shite.

Have really thought about putting a muzzle break on my rifle but I can't decide if I want to rebarrel it first. That's great groups

A good one will make a hard kicking rifle feel like nothing. The brake on that gun is removable. I love my brakes, Ill probably never have a rifle without one.

Never understood this though process. Guns are loud, wear hearing protection.
I bet you have straight pipes on your 1990 Z71 though.

It's getting a real muffler soon
I just don't need a brake on anything I have. There's no debating how well they work though.
Now if suppressors were only cheap and legal...

Yeah I got one. We'll see. I don't shoot it very often anyways so it may not be worth it.

You cant notice a diiference, you are saying that cause youve always heard it. I have one on my 3hunert and you dont notice a diff. I also have enough to sense to wear ear plugs

I have one on my 300wby, and I assure you, you can tell the difference.

Flinching from the percussion of a muzzle break is a real problem. Personally, I HATE them. Getting rdy to build a 7STW and really leaning towards no break. If you can group it and not cry like a girl without one I would skip it.

Like I said I have one, I am not talking cvause I heard my cousins brothers best friends uncle say it. It has not been a problem for me personally.

I'm not saying they aren't effective, just saying I don't like them. To me, shooting accurately is about concentration and being meticulous about your form/routine. The percussion is something "different" to me and it makes me feel off. I'd rather absorb some good ole fashion recoil. But, I'm still on the fence with the STW.

Only people that flinch, are the people to the sides. I don't flinch one bit. If suppressors didn't take a year to get, I'd get one to serve the same purpose.

If its going to be threaded Id put one like I got on there. Think of it as a thread protector.
Id also advise against any brake that ports any gas up/down, only to the sides.
