after mett throws his 7th td against arkansas late in the 4th qtr, extending the lead to 59-10, jennings will ride onto the field atop a white palomino steed, to seal the game with a series of power toss dives as the dreams of many TIGERLEES are denied fruition.

I was just kidding about starting him here on out. Mett seems like a good dude. Don't wanna ruin his draft stock. But for realz, Jennings should get 10-15 plays in the next 3 games.

If he get 25 carries like Yeldon did, diff game altogether

You realize we had only 54 plays, right? Probably 8-10 late in the fourth quarter when we were in no position to run?

31 rushes, including 6 Mett sacks. 23 passes.

When, exactly, was Hill going to get 25 carries?

Get him experience for next year since this season is a wash.

Would still be nice to beat eATMe. And LSU will need to score in the high 40's to do so.

Hill is far and away the best RB on this team, yet he has only averaged 15 carries per game and still averaged over 100 yards. Perhaps more carries earlier in the game would make a difference in what we have to do in the second half.

I disagree with this. He missed spots where he would usually take advantadge of. And is wasn't that Bam stopped him. He is just NOT the same RB as he was after the Ole Miss benching. Maybe its Miles NOT having the same confidence in him, BUT if that's the case Miles is a total fool. Just like benching Copeland for the rest of the game caused he fumbled . STUPID.

So you're saying Hill tackled himself?
You are delusional. Did you read Hill's quotes in his interview before the game? He had himself hyped up.

Then he tried to bounce out to the edge against a defense that knew how to contain.

Apologies for actually bringing reason to the Rant every once in awhile.

I agree with the post above. Hill is the best running back we have. He should get the ball more. But to assume he is unstoppable if only he would get 25 carries or more against the best run defense in the SEC is delusional. Especially the way our OL was playing in the second half.

Alabama's defense proved that pretty effectively.

ETA: Nice riff on my UID, btw. You must feel very clever.

How do you know if you never try???

After watching the last 2 games, do u really think we can't beat Bama by running the ball?

Bringing reason to rant? Good luck,

13 carries for the #4 back in the country that doesn't get significant touches because people are scared they will stop him..... But we never make them.....

God damn it, NO.

You play to WIN every fricking game. You put the best players on the field to give you the bet chance to win. If Mett is healthy, you play him.

Jennings (this season) is like the tight end position under Les Miles. Only meant to be used to support the running game and not meant for the passing game.
