This is the key. Either they were high school athletes who never made it and are trying to live through current athletes, or just have sad, boring lives.

When you give a stupid dog a chew toy, he's less likely to tear the rest of your house up. So while I find it pathetic how much some uneducated retards obsess over college football, I'm happy that they devote their lives to something so unimportant because the world is a much better place that way.
