I love going to games in Baton Rogue as the atmosphere is so electric, but Tiger Stadium and LSU's campus physical plant is really a notch down from Alabama's campus and stadium these days.
The difference from the early 1990's when I graduated is really shocking. The whole campus has literally been rebuilt with a great unified aesthetic. Bryant-Denny stadium is probably the state of the art for college stadiums in 2013. The pumped in rap music and godawful "Dixieland Delight" during are pretty awful but the Ac-DC, Lynard Skynard, & Metalica work for me. I could completely get rid of the band as they do nothing but use up good seats anymore.
Also, did someone say YOGA PANTS!

Tiger Stadium was built in 1924, so its not shiny and new-looking like BDS, but that's part of it's charm. It's repeatedly been called a "cathedral of college football"; you don't hear anyone saying that about BDS, no matter how many national titles Bama has. There's only so much that can be done to renovate it since it's so old, but we're working on it.
As far as our campus not being as nice as Bama, well that's in the eye of the beholder I think. I wouldn't expect a Gump to say anything of ours is better or nicer that Bama's, because Gumps don't do that. To them, Bama is the absolute pinnacle of perfection in everything.
Congrats on the win; now GTFO.

Droliver,
I worked at LSU for over a decade.
Jindal has gutted LSU. A staggering number of faculty and staff have left in the past 4 years along with tremendous budget cuts. LSU barely has enough facility service staff to cut grass. Getting stuff fixed in the buildings takes weeks to months now.
Bama has a fantastic plan in place, I am really impressed with the campus and the long term goals.

Pretty sad that is!
