The US News rankings should be taken with a grain of salt, particularly after the top tier of schools. It's also important to point out you should really only be focused on specific degree programs and your long term goals. If you want to be an engineer in the oil business, LSU is your place. LSU also has outstanding placement out of the Acctg/CIA program as well.
