Stanford Keys to Throwing off Oregon Offense

In looking at Stamford''s keys to screwing up Oregon's O:
1. Pressure by front 4
2. Early defense setting
3. And most important, mid LB accurate timing of snap count, and it appeared as-though he and NG had scheme worked out and NG was used like a lead blocker is used by offense. NG was creating space for LB to enter like directional blocking.

Not earth shattering stuff. A good front four will beat them every time. See AU '10 and LSU '11. Oregon just doesn't do physical.

Their offense...Oregon's defense decided to stay in their 3-4 defense and get blown off the line when they put in 8 OLINEMEN. We never got any rhythm and when they did, it was too late.

I also think Oregon is being too stubborn with their S&C philosophy with the trench guys.
