LSU fans, esp some on here (esp the regular posters) have two problems......

1) chicken little syndrome. lose a game or barely win a game or let an inferior opponent hang around for a half and the problem is in decline.

2) uber criticalness. all teams have their ups and downs and we play a more demanding schedule than almost all teams. our ups get these fans assuming we'll be undefeated and our downs get these fans assuming we will not win another game.

add the hatred of les miles with a small but extremely vocal fans and add that nick saban used to be our coach and the vitriol is out of control at times. my only analogy is spoiled teen age girls on their period.

the biggest amazement i have is that there is a segment of fans that blame LSU for saban leaving and blame les miles for saban going to bama. i'm just going to say that les miles is held to the highest standard of any head coach in the country by these fans. beat saban and beat sabans accomplishments at bama or you suck. this group really takes the fun out of this site. it's only fun when LSU wins and wins big.

Gdad, whats screwed up is that I found myself writing the Tigers off. Just this morning I decided to be analytical about the current state of affairs and realized its smoke and mirrors......and behind that smoke and mirrors is a very dangerous team.

What takes the fun out of the site for me is people like you (and you are the worst offender I can think of at the moment) who continually ascribe false and obviously weak arguments and positions to people you disagree with, and then proceed to argue against those made-up positions. And then sit back and wait for people to pat you on the back. Argue FOR what you believe if you want. That's every man's right. But don't just argue against things you imagine your opponents to be saying.

Who does this without saying that the problem lies in repeatedly losing a couple of games or playing down to your opponent? Nobody with a brain is basing their negativity off of one game.

Who does this? You would have to be absolutely clueless to do either of those.

Seriously? You know LSU fans who expect Miles to win 3 out of 4 national championships in any 4 year stretch? Or did you just make that up too?
