Yeah he was killed in NEA about 30 miles west of Jonesboro. Funny thing about the area, big bodies and either massive spread with no mass and short tines or no spread with lots of mass and length.
Yeah the more I look at him the more I'm thinking I'll do a shoulder on him. Once away from the body the head looks good.

Yeah I'm pretty excited by it, first time a buck has seemed larger when I ground checked it than when I saw it walking. Actually excited doesn't seem to describe it, my wife thinks I'm crazy but its still all I can think of. Now I just need to find a good taxidermist.

its definitely somethn to be proud of! im mounting the one i shot saturday.. it isnt my biggest deer but my first with a bow and im more excited about it than the one on my wall already
