Appendicitis doesnt just all of a sudden cause incredible pain and make you collapse, even if it perfs. It would be a pain the gradually gets worse over a few hours.

Where was his pain?

If headache, yeah, ruptured aneurysm with subarachnoid hemorrhage.

i am not buying the precautionary hospital visit. this is serious.

I didn't see any of this, but this is what I'd fear based on comments here. He was speaking (normally?) so that makes a stroke unlikely. If his heart rate was relatively normal, than it is probably not a heart attack. I can't see appendicitis unless he had been feeling it and just didn't tell anyone. I'd be afraid of an aneurysm, but the fact that there was no delay in this game and there was a 'precautionary' update makes me hope that isn't the case. The visit isn't precautionary but I don't think that statement would be made if it the thinking were aneurysm.
