Recoil is not a factor for him. He has shot the 243 and 44 well. He shoots better with ear muffs because hes not thinking about the pop.
I guess Im going to lean towards the 44. 225 gr bullet would seem to carry more knock down inside of 100.

You got it. We shoot 240's and 250's but anything over 200 grains is gonna pack a wallop inside of 100. I would not recommend hollow points tho. In pistol bullets which is what you will be shooting, penetration is your friend.
