Half the powder half the velocity to the good. Does have heavier bullet so a little more recoil to the bad. You gain in less recoil from lowet velocity but give some back by having a heavier bullet.

Recoil is not a factor for him. He has shot the 243 and 44 well. He shoots better with ear muffs because hes not thinking about the pop.
I guess Im going to lean towards the 44. 225 gr bullet would seem to carry more knock down inside of 100.
