I'm not saying LSU can't or won't beat alabama. But how are you drawing the conclusion that LSU is clearly better than alabama?

I don't think Bama has even taken a decent hit yet this season.

A&M maybe? Get the frick out, those boyz play softball type football.

A better o-line, a better RB, a better wr core and a D that WILL show up. Ego will be in the backfield all night. Bama still has a problem at O-line. And a qb that has faced A Bama D before. Cam was hired to do ONE THING..... Beat Bama.

Think about it. I am ALL on LSU this week.

Of course Bama is undefeated but with their pussy schedule any one would look good! The only thing that bothers me is Bama has improved as the season wears on & we have digressed,Both on defense & Mett!

If LSU had the luxury of playing Bama's schedule, I'm quite certain we'd show the improvement you speak of as well.

They haven't allowed a sack in more than a month and currently are #1 in rushing offense in SEC play.

You'd still have at least one loss (Ole Miss) and a probable loss (Texas A&M). So you'd have the same record with our schedule as your presently do with your own.

Faulty logic that I'd expect from a gump fan.

Ole Miss was prolly Bama's toughest foe the whole course of the middle season while they were a somewhat natural 'let down' game in the midst of our much tougher schedule.

Alabama also faced a "full strength" Ole Miss while LSU faced a depleted one.

"Unproven #1 Team" is a bit if a dubious insult. This team, like every #1 team in recent memory, is pretty damned solid. And it's hard to call a program with Bama's 3-year track record and returning players "unproven".
