Like a lot of LSU fans, I've often trashed this guy for his arrogance and percieved Tiger bashing.

I have a new respect for him after this appearance. For those who didn't see it, he came clean about his alcoholism, relapse, the damage it causes, and his need to be honest about it to save himself, his family and to help others.

This hit me in a very personal way and i just wanted to acknowledge the courage he has to lay himself out there on National TV.

Good to see someone in the spotlight taking responsibility for their shortcomings and not blaming something or someone else.

His sports opinions have often led me to believe that he was drunk on TV. His addiction has done significant damage to the quality if sports analysis on my tv over the past several years. Glad to see him doing something to fix this problem.

Did he just cut in with that information or what set it up?

Must be contract renewal time "look boss, people like me".

People come out everyday with this admission, b/c he's on tv it's somehow more dramatic or special? GTFO

Did his alcoholism make him a terrible CFB analyst? Because I really could not give less of a shite about his personal life. In front of the camera, he's fricking terrible.

I think LSU fans are addicted to playing the victim.

...and arrogant to think a CFB personality actually gives a crap enough about Louisiana State foosball to play favorites.

takes a lot to admit you have a problem, but it takes balls to admit it on national television. props to RS.
