You have a chance to win many National Championships at LSU in the future. You just have to be a start in something. Schools don't want your state to become a "dynasty". They will do and say whatever it takes to not let that happen. Be smart and build your own house.
Remember, LSU was 1 yard away from playing in the SEC Championship Game(not Alabama) and LSU should have been in the National Championship Game last year.
You could be the player to sure for that 1 yard the next, you could be that player who makes the tackle to stop a go-ahead drive the next time. It could happen that way. Which end would you rather be on, your home state or another state?
Be strong, be smart and play for your state, families, communities, friends and other young players that will follow you.
Stay home guys. You have the #1 recruiting class in the nation. Don't let people break that up.
Everybody stay together! I promise you guys will win 2-3 National Championships of your own.

Luck has more do with life than people believe. Read Nassim Taleb's "Fooled By Randomness".
The people who say "well nick was able to get it done, Les wasn't..bottom line" are not giving luck the credit it deserves.
LSU is great place to play and get a degree.
Most players in NFL. Most drafted last year. Cam Cameron. DefensiveU. Playing for your people. Not your rival. AJ10.
Buy low, sell high. Sell our rival. Buy LSU.

The stupid wildcat formation call on 4th and 1 when we had the lead and the ball against the gumps with 3 minutes to play. That's uhhhh.

Or do what's best for them. If that's LSU then great. If not then go somewhere else. It's just football.

What if their parents went to Bama.....what if dad played for aTm..........what if LSU was lazy where the HC of a dynasty was calling every night?
Not everyone in the state is a legacy.
LSU cherry picks other states, it's recruiting.....

and if you have anything on the ball academic wise and get your degree you can make a damn good living post nfl in state as you will be a hero for life because our tigers are indeed our heros.

This thread is the sorriest thread I have seen on here!!!
Damn shame. I'm waiting for crying and begging to start. Has Saban struck such fear into folks drawls that it has come to this?

Sat, Oct 6@ #10 Florida L14-6
Sat, Oct 13 #3 South Carolina W23-21
Sat, Oct 20@ #18 Texas A&M W24-19
Sat, Nov 3 #1 Alabama L21-17
Sat, Nov 10 vs #21 Mississippi St W37-17
With a stretch like that, if we don't choke the Alabama game away, we are in. I think we take UGA down in the SECCG last season too.

Having a play or maybe even a close game go your way might be attributed to luck. But not winning two straight titles or three in four years. That's called being championship caliber. Luck might help you along the way in a given play here or there, but to be in position to benefit from luck, you first have to be good. You don't luck your way to three titles in four years.

they absolutely lucked their way into the championship game the past 2 years
2011 - can't even win own division, but is allowed to play in the national championship game?
2012 - if OSU isn't on bowl sanctions, Bama does not play in the championship game
and before someone reminds me, yes, I'm aware LSU lucked in the NC in 2007 as well

I always say: "I'd rather be lucky than good!"
Of course you have to be good, but don't think luck hasn't got something to do with it either.

So, Bama's just lucky? Yeah, right.

Correct, luck had nothing to do with bama getting TWO shots to beat an unbeaten LSU team

Bama is definitely benefiting from their storied history and being a national brand, besides a little luck. If a team like Arkansas presented the same resume they don't go in 11', and tOSU's bowl ban got them in last year. Since they're so good on paper, and are a traditional power, voters will forgive a Bama loss in a heartbeat even if they're only challenged twice in a year. It is what it is, same kind of shite got us there in 07'.

......that situation is the same for anywhere the superstars school is located NOT where they went to HS. While an extreme example, do you think Tennessee people would treat Peyton any less than LA folks? Answer is no.
Is what it is
