So Stacy gets a 100-yard game and is instantly compared to McCoy and Charles?

He obviously wasn't saying Stacy is as good as them, but he's a good back to have since he will get a majority of the carries. It's always good to have a feature back, especially a capable one.

Not at all, im simply implying that there are only a handful of backs that are getting the full workload. Stacy is now one of them.

Not to mention, fantasy value does not equal real life talent/value.

Tim Tebow's run with Broncos had some real shitty stat lines, but he was posting pretty decent fantasy numbers for a QB because he was running. He was getting 1 point for every 10 yards as opposed to every 20/25 yards QBs get for passing.

We had a guy who had Tebow get him into our playoffs doing that shite, which does not make him a great NFL QB.

Exactly. Stacy with a full work load is a top 15 fantasy back. Doesnt mean hes a top 15 talent.

Stacy (assuming health) is a very valuable RB2 the rest of the way. I like him a lot.

watching him last night accelerate through tackles and never go negative while ripping off 7-10 yard runs all the time was promising.

My point was touches do not equal top status. MJD is the only back in Jax and he blows. DMC is the only back in Oakland and he's not a top 15 back.

Also a big note is STL hasn't scored a rushing TD all season. I would say he was 2012 Morris but the TD potential isn't there.

I agree which is why I dont think hes a top 8 back. Would you rather Stacy or Lamar Miller? What about Stacy or Ryan Matthews? Heres who I would want over Stacy.

Charles, AP, McCoy, Forte, Foster, Moreno, Lynch, Gore, Morris, Bush, Lacy, Rice, Sproles, Ellington. Then it gets dicey for me. Stacy or D Williams? Stacy or CJ1K? Stacy or Ridley? Stacy or FJax?

Again this isnt talent based, its fantasy value.

Terrible comparison because Miller isn't even a top 30 RB.

The Rams have ZERO rushing touchdowns in 2013. His value cannot be that high unless he finds the endzone.

Did you not see the other 5+ RBs he listed?

FOX Sports' Mike Garofolo reports Rams RB Zac Stacy has avoided a high-ankle sprain.
It would Stacy escaped with a garden-variety sprain in Monday's loss. Stacy should be considered day to day, and likely to suit up for Sunday's game against the Titans. Averaging a robust 4.6 yards per carry for an offense he's now the centerpiece of, Stacy is solidifying himself as a legitimate RB2. His status will be updated on Wednesday.

You think an NFL team will go the season without scoring a rushing TD? Not saying Stacy will get them, but the team will and Stacy is getting the majority of the carries.
