Great link. Brockers is one of a handful of guys we haven't come close to replacing over the last couple of years. He was a terror on the inside. He serves as a reminder that the "next guy up" mantra, while nice, is often just wishful thinking.

I don't think people realized how vital he was to that 2011 defense. I know I sure as hell didn't realize it until after he left.

This!
It is so frustrating when the over-the-top positigers go off like this past offseason about how the defense will be better and this person & that person will be a beast and better than the person they played behind.
You can't even question their predictions, lest you're labeled a negatiger.
Reality is not a strong suit of some.
