I'm seeing online they have the "Ultimate" with 225 channels and HBO, Cmax, Starz, and Showtime for free for 3 months for 39.99

And then they have "Premier", which has all the Ultimate does, plus a few extra channels, and the HBO, Cmax, Starz, and Showtime year round for 86.99

Can you switch between the 2 after signup? Like if I did Ultimate initially but then after the 3 months in like March when GOT starts up could I switch to Premier easily?

I have good credit, will I get the HR44 genie free of charge or are there monthly rental fees?

Yes equipment is free up front.

Monthly fees are as follows

Assume u get the ultimate

$39.99 for first year
$25 per month for genie whole home DVR- if u sign up for autopay u get $10 off for two years so its $15/month

Each TV past the first is a $6 monthly fee for the box. So for 4 TVS it's an extra $18

Pretty standard industry fees

So it would be for 4 rooms with ultimate

39.99
15 DVR
18 for 3 rooms at $6 each

$82.99 for first year

Go with the ultimate and then call and cancel premiums and they will give u deal. If u switch by yourself then u will lose credits.

I called for a buddy last month after his 3 months of premiums were over and he had ultimate. Lady offered me premier half off for a year and it came out to be cheaper than ultimate with free premiums.

Make sense? If u want I can email u offline. I know ways to get u a better discount too

Yes. That is one thing I love about directv. You can easily switch packages and change programming without any hassle. I've done it many times and it's almost like it seems wrong. I was used to cable for so many years. You will not regret it one bit.
