Well, there aren't many places they are at until the corridors are fully connected. If you think you have that many, contact LDWF. This is a big conservation effort and studies are being done, locals see a lot more of what is going on than people doing studies. Maybe they can concentrate their studies and come up with better numbers.

The number of bears in an area is usually greatly overestimated by the public. One bear can cover a lot of territory, and their habitat is limited.
