Debating on getting either a 4" or 6" inch lift on my F150 Supercrew 4WD. Anyone got pics of their trucks and what size tires they have on them?

What kind of wheels are you looking to put on it?

Unless you are in HS, you will regret it.

I'm not here to hate on lifts like the rest of these assholes will, but just realize that your truck will never ride as good as before.

The most you should do is maybe a leveling kit. Anything more than a leveling kit you will probably regret.

With lifts go big if not you will be wanting that extra 2" My uncle has a 6" fabtech on a F150 crew cab and is running Mickey Thompson MTZ 35x13.50R18 on Moto metal wheels. Looks great IMO.

I did a 3" on my 05 Silverado, jumped up to 33's a couple years ago.
Don't get me wrong I love the way it looks, but like others have said, it does not ride the same.
Not bad mind you, just not as smooth as it was before.

when you go this big, you get into other more expensive issues. I'd stay 2-4

You do realize that once it is lifted, it all goes downhill from there, right? Being stuck for days, broken parts, expensive tires, etc are all examples of what fun comes with a lifted truck. Have you ever seen the movie "Money Pit"?

On a smaller truck, 33s are perfect. On a bigger truck, 35s are perfect. I have heard of people just leveling an F150 and putting 35" tires on them. Go for as small a lift you need to fit 35s and it'll be golden.

I don't have an F150 so I can't comment on brands

DrBeardface just put a 4" on his new King Ranch F150. It's in the King Ranch thread if you want to look it up. It is pretty sharp. If you want to save yourself the trouble of searching, he will either post pics in here shortly or bump that other thread for some reason.

You get what you pay for with lifts, especially for IFS trucks.

I can't recommend Superlift enough. I have 160k hard miles on my lift (94 Z71) and the lift components are still in very good shape. They do a great job of keeping the factory steering geometry and CV angles on the front end, and usually come with a complete spring pack for the back end. The diff drops are great as well.

They're also usually $5-600 more than rough country or rancho for good reason.

Just bear in mind that you will absolutely be dealing with increased maintenance costs and a shittier ride. Buy a good kit and have it professionally installed. Don't attempt to tackle an IFS lift yourself unless you are very mechanically inclined with a large arsenal of tools and preferably a lift.

One other thing is to make absolutely 100% sure the kit you get has a diff drop. Some 3 or 4 inch kits do not come with a differential drop and you will be eating CV joints faster than you can change them.

Not to rag on lift kits, but how many highly lifted 4x4 trucks have the front driveshaft removed? I am guessing 75% at least.

4 inch lift 33" BFG Mud terrains. IMHO get 6" lift minimum, the price difference is negligible if any.

4.5 fabtech. I loved the lift when I bought the truck 5 years ago. I thought I was being sensible after driving my old truck with 10inches and 41s. now Im 27 and wish I would have just leveled it and gone with 35s.

I have a 9in lift with 37' Toyo MTs and black 22' XD Monsters. Got it when I was 18. 23 now and looking to get rid of it.

I love it and have had a blast in it but it just feels like time to get a normal truck. I've never had problems with it and if you do it right it will ride perfectly fine.

ETA: Toyos are by far the best MTs you can drive on the street with.
