LSU lost by 3 points. Does Jeremy Hill make a 3 point difference in a game, especially a game that your game plan appears to be to pound your opponent into submission?

So tell me what points you think were left on the board with Hill on the bench. I'm looking at the play-by-play recap and don't see where his absence on the field had anything to do with the loss. LSU only punted once in the 2nd Half. Here's that drive's plays:

1st and 10, LSU 25 - pass 13 yds to Landry
1st and 10, LSU 38 - pass 12 yds to Beckham
1st and 10, Midfield - pass 0 yds to Hill
2nd and 10, Midfield - pass incomplete to Boone
3rd and 10, Midfield - pass incomplete to Beckham
4th and 10, Midfield - punt

Ole Miss then fumbles and resultant drive ends in FG, but looks like this:

1st and 10, UM 13 - run 5 yds by Hill
2nd and 5, UM 8 - run 1 yd by Hill
3rd and 4, UM 7 - Mett sacked for 16 yd loss
4th and 20, UM 23 - Field Goal

Next drive ends in game tying TD. We know the rest (and had nothing to do with Hill). So what points did we lose out on?

HIll can take it to the house on any given play, Hillard can't.
