I've got to say, I've never felt so hated in my life as I did Saturday in Oxford. I was insulted by an old lady....it was fricking awesome.

Hopefully Ole Miss has finally turned a corner and can be somewhat competitive and refuel this rivalry. I for one cannot wait for them to come to Baton Rouge next year after seeing how much they really do hate us. I finally got to see what all of the fuss was about.

Geaux to hell ole miss.

We had a guy send his 15 year old son to ask us if we had any corn dogs. When we laughed and called him a fig...his dad popped out of nowhere and tried to fight us for picking on his 15 year old son

Post your Ole Miss stories here. I'm sure we've got some good ones

My 9th trip.
Least eventful and assholery I've ever experienced.
All nice to me.

I'm racist though, so they might have sensed it.... fit right in.

Umm, for a supposedly shitty team that is supposed to be so far beneath us, they sure to take it to us on a regular basis.

The OM tailgate we were had a Fat Elvis. He sang Dixie. But before doing so reminded us that we are all Americans

I didn't feel any more hate than what I see LSU fans give Ole Miss fans when they come to Baton Rouge. They just want to be on our level and I get that. The Grove was nice. It's different from LSU, but we had a good time until the football team didn't show up and their team played the best they have all year.

The Grove is the most overrated POS tailgating venue in the world. Everyone is packed like sardines and and people raise so much dust that it looks like a cattle drive. And BTW, Ole Miss women are HIGHLY also overrated. No amount of makeup and sundresses can help them. LSU women are much better looking and more fun.

I had a drunk frat come up to me at halftime with his girlfriend, he leaned over to me and sniffed and said "I smell corn dogs" I leaned over, sniffed and replied " I smell a-hole". His girlfriend loved it, he laughed and high fives me.

Another Ole Piss fan came by and asked me if concessions sold corn dogs, I replied "I don't know but I hear they're delicious, especially with mustard".

Overall a pretty tame crowd, especially compared to the stupid pig fans in Little Rock.

They all thought we were going to beat their arse until the alcohol set in. Some a-hole talked some shite when I was walking out the bathroom and tapped me on the head. Another just yelled at me "frick you" when we were walking to the stadium so I replied with the same and got a lecture from an old Ole Miss guy about how I was disrespectful and his daughter didn't need to hear that from me ignoring his own kind who said the same.

4th trip and it's usually more hostility than not, but that's what makes it fun sometimes.

And it only gets stronger. But Les Miles does not impress that upon his teams most years, so we get flat performances against them. And sometimes even tasty losses.

It's nice to see post like this. Some faggy fans take things too personally and really buy into a thinking that we're better than other fans nowadays.

Good rivalries make it all much more fun.

I have some friends that went to Oxford for the game and they said that the Ole Miss fans couldn't have been any nicer to them. Funny how you had such a drastically different experience.

sarcasm alert?

pretty much think they are there...then if you factor the "program in decline" (sarcasm alert) theory the LSU/om rivalry is for real. past history says, at least in one camp, the rivalry never really died.

get better, get better, get better.

Well welcome to what the rest of us already knew. You must be new to LSU fandom (as in having joined us since 2001).

Somewhat competitive? OM has been way more than competitive since 2002 (the birth of LSU football for many). Even if you are a new fan then you should know that they are extremely competitive. Since 2002, there have been eight games decided by seven points or less. Of the four games that have been decided by more than seven points, Ole Miss has won two and LSU has won two.

Have to live with them. It's always an issue.

It was the complete opposite for me. Everyone I ran into was very friendly. Our crew had a blast. A few drunk students were talking shite but it was all in good fun.

I've never seen more pansy tailgating in my life. It went above and beyond trying to be "rich-looking". It was pretty pathetic. Grill a f-ing hamburger for Christ's sake.

They are so second rate it's ridiculous. No reason we shouldn't own them like the cowbells.

For me all it took was one trip there (Herb Tyler team loss in OT) to hate them forever.

They have the appearance of no one to give a shite about until you are there to witness there assholery after they win at home.

Congrats to the idiot black kids that go to such an openly racist vestige of continuing the "tradition of the old south".
