I remember being 13 years old and listening to Jim Hawthorne call games during the Gerry Dinardo era and getting geeked out when we pull out a game over a ranked team. And each one of those games resonated and gave me a euphoric moment. I remember watching David Lafluer getting picked in the first round over Tony Gonzalez and getting geeked over LSU putting a first round pick in the League! I look back on those days fondly. And I look back on our NC fondly. But what has really soured my experience with LSU football since that time is the type of bourgeoisie attitude that make us hate Alabama fans, that make us hate USC fans, that make us hate Notre Dame fans. The sense of entitlement. That same attitude has infected our fan population. And that attitude is every time we lose the program is finished. We second guess every decision. We are going back to the Hallman era. It's not going to happen.

I understand why LSU fans are upset but there is no reason to start blaming Les and calling for his head. There is room for improvement but all this whining and complaining is so unconstructive and may in a way dissuade recruits from coming to LSU. We were never expected to compete for the NC game this year, our D was decimated by departures. College Football is a cyclical cycle (other than Alabama), some years you are on top and some years you aren't. We should strive for the top but the bitching has got to stop...

I'm going to guess people that registered 5 years after me are going to flame away!

You have a point, but still LSU should have came prepared for that game and played with a sense of urgency. I think those playcalls of throwing deep in the endzone where a bit unnecessary. Just proved they did not have patience possessing or driving the ball.

I don't care how bad things used to be. It's not 1999 anymore.
