Sure, there have been in-game adjustments, yet when the game gets down to when it matters, it does not matter if He is coaching in Orange of Tenn or Purple and Gold of LSU, his philosophy is identical...

and Third and Chavis is highly-accurate as a description of his philosophy.

Furthermore, the exection to this is when he has future All-Pro caliber personnel on the field.

Give him an average roster, and he is nothing special at all.

So what makes Chief special?

Is it him?

is it the massive number of Pro-caliber players he had in his hay day at Tenn and LSU?

Is he special at all, or is the truth of the matter that he is just average overall, and not special at all?

Most importantly, at his stage of the game, can he and will he adjust?

If you think he is special, don't you think special coaching could take lesser talented teams and do something special with them?

When has he done so?

Everyone can change.

The game is certainly passing him by though.

NO and neither will Miles

With the lack of playing time for Jennings, the upside next year is probably 8 -4 with a greater downside floor close to 6 -6.

Not much. Just ask some Tennessee fans.

Why would we want Chavis to change? Did you not watch last years A&M game?

There is no logical flow chart that can lead the defensive woes of this season directly to chief. The only thing i disagree with on his strategy is to not rush qbs that have big arms. The dual threat types he rushes and gets to, the big arm guys get all day to pick us apart. Can't see why.

Other than that chief is awesome and we are lucky to have him.

This is the same defensive scheme we had in 2011 and 2012. The defense is young in the secondary and lacks playmakers in the front seven. If we had potential seniors minter, mingo, montgomery, mathieu, simon and reid on this squad,,,,Do u really believe this defense would suck...

Chief doesn't make adjustments. Ever. See the A&M game last season as evidence.
