Damn, I can't remember the last time I watched an Avs game. It's good to see them playing so well.

off topic Fatty but the Saints are the 4th most popular NFL team in Canada according to recent polls, 11th most popular in America...lots of Acadians up here have them as faves where as too many Anglos have the Pats...

Watching the Pens is like watching the 2009-10 Caps. That defense is gonna get exposed in the postseason again, but until then... it's a ton of fun watching them score 4 goals a game.

So fricking happy to have a full season of hockey baby. It doesnt get much better than gamecenter+3 monitors. Anyways, biggest suprises so far:

1) Lmao at the suck of the Rangers and Flyers. WtF?
2) Calgary not sucking hard, but i expect this to change
3) Colorado busting everyones nuts

LONG LIVE THE NHL!!!

I have a french canadian friend in Havre Boucher, Nova Scotia and he is a pats fan. i understand though. I am a celtics fan. SO each of us likes a boston team. We both hate the Bruins though. As we should being as we are habs fans.

EDIT: The atlanta braves are my baseball team but if I had to pick a second favorite I would go with the boston red sox.

Injuries are decimating us early on. Mad max is out, Briere is out and Prust could be out. We need Emelin back soon also.

Buffalo and Flyers are in a huge bind.

Oh and Edmonton STILL sucks. How is that even possible at this point? Honestly they've been sucking every year and still haven't benefited from their ridiculously high draft picks.

Still pissed at the Rockets for running our Aeros out of Houston.
Can you elaborate? How did that come about?

Harris County owns the Toyota Center, but the Rockets manage it. Aeros lease was up last spring and the Rockets wanted $5 million/year for the new lease. Wild said no thanks and hauled arse to Des Moines and are now the Iowa Wild.

Well, we do have a new Junior 3 level (I think) team in Sugar Land. I will have to go check them out. Tickets are only $10.
