Because Thompkins decided to try and pull a Joe Horn and fall before getting hit? He made that decision late and after Malc had already lined up his body to make a hit on, what would be, an area around Thompkins' chest. I just caught up on all the posts on this thread. I'm frustrated that there's a team of men/women that watch these plays looking for fines. I feel like there's a quota they need to meet per week - give out speeding tickets or lose your job. You'd be calling ticky-tacky shite too like this hit.

Facts of the matter, Malc was trying to stay legal with the hit but brushed Kenbrell's facemask because of a move that Kenbrell himself initiated by trying to go down before the hit. If I were any player not named Danny Amendola or Austin Collie, I'd just lower my head, initiate contact with the defender's helmet, and draw the penalty. frick this.
