I agree with this.

I stayed at my first job 6 years. I had an offer to leave about a year in for more money, but I didnt think it was a "better" job in the long run so I passed and stayed put. I'm in my current job almost 18 motnhs now and if a job came up that would be a better fit for me or more advantagious for my family, I'd take an offer in a heart beat.

How do these offers usually come about when you are working full-time? Do companies come after people, or are they applying for the positions?
