No need to hype that game. It hypes itself.

Shoeless Joe are you a lsu fan? If so why would you bet against our beloved tigers?

The thing that makes LSU dangerous this year is the trust that Miles obviously has in Cameron. Any intelligent fan can see the balance and the sound game planning. We've all suspected different levels of Miles' input in or interference with the game plans over the last few seasons, but this year looks and feels completely different. Now we have a legit OC who can break down how to best use the offense's strengths to create favorable matchups against all kinds of Ds. It seems like Miles has given him free reign to do as he pleases.
He did a hell of a number on a great defense last week, and given multiple weeks to focus on Bama, I am confident that he will find things to exploit. I am REALLY looking forward to watching him play a little chess with Saban in a few weeks. It should be a lot of fun to watch.

les and cam will be ready. danielson and lundquist are the prognosticators of the obvious...... turn down down the volume and enjoy the game.........

Of course Les is giving Saban more to think about. And Saban will do the same. It's called gamesmanship.

Les knows that he has a championship caliber team this year. Hell, he believes that he has a championship cal team nearly every year and the Tigers have only barely lost out on winning around five more crystals since he has been here. To say that he has been in the hunt is an understatement.
Of coarse he thinks that he has a champ cal team.

As I said LSU is playin in Alabama. If you think they will run on them like they ran on Fla at home then you're on some shite. Some of you people don't understand to well. Yes, Fla is number one in D in the SEC right now, but that has nothing to do with what y'all apparently think will happen in November. LSU's Oline has been jekyll/hydish this season.
Yeah right... because home field advantage means sooooo much to this rivalry recently.

I disagree with this. I think Gary's a straight shooter and I doubt he'd artificially hype a game. Besides do you really think it'll need extra hype?? They won't be struggling for an audience that's for sure !

Les is willing to play different styles of football (passing attack, physical running game)
1) those things aren't mutually exclusive. 2) we've done both in a game before. if you want a good example, see.... LAST YEAR'S BAMA GAME.
Mett throws for almost 300 yds
Hill has 30 carries for over 100 yds
Saban knows what's coming, and he knows we do it better than last yr. can his boys hold us outta the end zone again this yr is the question.

I just hope he doesn't try to go in that game and out-smart himself like he did on 1/9.
Everyone knew we were going to try the option. Saban/Greg Williams was ready for it. We did not have a backup plan. We got torched.
Bottom line, just play your game with a few extra wrinkles. Make them stop the offense you've had the most success with first. Then you we should have another major change if it isn't working. But, I just hope he doesn't take this run right at you mentality if it's not working.

I doubted that LSU would run on UF like that. Their defense is supposed to be as good or better than Bama's. Our O-line opened big holes and in the 4th we were gashing them - always a great sign. Hell, even Copeland averaged four yards per carry.
I think we'll try to be balanced against Bama so they don't know what is coming. I also think Bama's secondary isn't on UF's level. So I see us going down field quite a bit more and passing more than we did against UF. Either way, winning how we did against UF was very good news. I figured it would be lower scoring game and not a big blowout like a number of people were predicting, but I didn't see us running on them like that. I guess UGA was the exception - though we weren't terrible running in that one either.
This is right on!

Saban is thinking about the "secret playbook" that Cam hasn't used yet

1--Bama has no home field advantage against us: 1-5 this century vs LSU at home.
2--CLM was clearly in his head 11/5/11--did you see the fits he was having on the sideline?--from a coaching sandpoint, Saban pushed so hard for the rematch b/c his ego couldn't handle Aub and LSU winning back-to-back titles after Bama won in '09

What a stupid comment. The game will more than likely be #1 vs #4 or #5. The game has decided the SEC West Champion for the last couple seasons and has garnered all the national media attention, not to mention the rematch for the National Championship. I don't think this game needs any "hype".

I'll be the first to admit I was wrong about Cam Cameron. He's done a much better job than I thought he would do and MUCH better than I thought Miles would let him do.
But make no mistake, what LSU is doing offensively is neither new, innovative, or groundbreaking. It's effective because it's a system, not just a bunch of plays and because Cameron is making much better use of the current talent than any LSU OC in recent memory.
Cam vs. Saban will be a good matchup schematically, but don't think that Saban won't be prepared. He coached against Cam when they were in the B1G, so he knows him pretty well.
This game, like most games between well-coached teams, is going to come down to which teams' players make the most plays and least mistakes.
