If it gets just Kwon and Barrow in at LB it is a hugh plus. 5-2-4 or a 4-2-5 would both be good packages for us to run.

Could you or someone Explain why this is a bad idea? Also shouldn't this help us defend against the run. If I remember right the ends play standing up at the line of scrimmage

Well what would you have them do ? what they been doing AIN'T WORKING BRO. Fla is going to run right at us and if Chavis doesn't try different formations they will not be able to stop them. Get your head out your arse!!

Anyway, more and more NFL teams are using the modernized 5-2 concepts in their defenses. It is really a variant of the present day 3-4 with some interest twist.

I can see LSU talent fitting the modern 5-2 in many situations.
