I was there Friday and did a side by side tasting of Firestone Walker Wookey Jack and bottled Dr Hoptagon. Everyone had slightly different opinion but they were basically 2 different beers. Wookey was more on the IPA side with hints of roastedness. Dr Hoptagon is more of a silky roasted beer with a slight bite of hops on the back end. I honestly love this beer and can't get enough of it.
Yes it will be in Nola, BR, Lafayette, and not sure where else they'll make it to.
Also should see it on tap at several locations. Bottled version is slightly smoother and silkier. Keg has a little more bite.
