How does this work? Does it count against the over all number we take (25)?
I know there are a couple kids who could enroll early like: Hootie and Davon.

Yes it counts against the numbers. But, I think you can only have a certain amount of EE.

Most high school kids have enough credits to graduate a semester early by the time the spring semester of their senior year rolls around. That allows them to graduate and enroll at the college of their choice.

I thought you could use the EE to count against the previous year's numbers (if spot available) or the following year? or some shite like that

Isnt their some kind of benefit (not just that the player gets to practice spring ball).

An EE has to fit under the 85 limit. For example, if we have 83 scholarship players now(I don't know the real numbers), we can have 2 EEs. The number of EEs can increase if you have players that have or will graduate by december. For example Mett will graduate. I don't know how many of these we have.

An EE also counts against the 25, however, he can count against the last class if there is room or the incoming class if there isn't room. It's not clear to me at this time whether there is any room to count back.

If you read the rules as literally written, then we should be able to count back 2, but I don't believe the SEC is implementing the rule as it is written. If I'm right we can't count any back and we will be limited to 25 this year excluding grey shirts who don't sign with the class.

A ton of Seniors graduate in December or already have their degree because they have been at LSU for 4-5 years and have taken summer classes every year. This opens up a lot of schollys for EEs.
