Nah.
Portal is fun, but HL is better.
I'm not even a FPS fan in general but that game sucked me in.
I dunno if it's mild compared to what else is out there, but Ravenholm genuinely creeped me the frick out.

Who here really doesn't understand why Half Life 2 series means so much to some?
New/Young PC gamers not around in 03/04?
IMO HL2 and FEAR are the 2 PC games which changed everything. HL2 we have never seen those effects with a story and FEAR we never seen AI sooo real.
