If LSU beats Bama, does that mean SEC-less BCS title game?

Undefeated Stanford/ Oregon winner

vs.

Undefeated Ohio St

Or

Undefeated Clemson (who beat Georgia, and LSU last year)/Florida St (who will have beaten Florida) winner

I don't see how an SEC team gets in this year unless it's undefeated Bama

I see an undefeated Bama or a one loss Georgia if those the SEC champions. Georgia would get in based on their schedule, and they've scored boatloads which makes them an "attractive" team for the voters.

its college football who knows.

No one would be more deserving than LSU though, but being undefeated is more important than playing a good schedule

This very much looks like a non-SEC MNCG. I don't see consistent play from Bama I expect they lose 1 Ito GA in the SECCG if to no one else. No way tOSU, Clem, and winner of OR/Stan gets passed by a 1 loss SEC.

We're really getting ahead of ourselves here, year after year teams start off smoking and almost always lose to someone no one would ever expect.

If there is a one loss SEC team, they're getting in over an undefeated Ohio State.

If LSU's not in the title game, I couldn't care less that the SEC is left out.

1-loss LSU with wins over Bama @ Bama, aTm, Florida, OM, and prob revenge game against UGA in the SECCG has a very good shot at going to the NCG.

If history has taught us anything, it's that there are rarely undefeated teams standing at the end. We are still in good shape, but our margin for error is razor thin.

Given the SEC has basically owned the BCS era, I'd be interested to see how they leave out an SEC team.

Well.... seems every year there are teams knocking on the proverbial BCS title game door but they always seem to stumble late. This has given 1 loss SEC team (Alabama) a chance and they have certainly taken advantage. We'll just have to see how the year plays out...... IF at least 2 of these teams go undefeated (Oregon or Stanford, Ohio State, Clemson or Florida State) and Ala. loses to LSU then yes SEC will be out of BCS title game IMHO.

Bama will find a way in, don't y'all worry. Media will want Bama v. Oregon or Bama v OhioSt.

Other sec teams will have to earn it.

I'm willing to bet nobody will be undefeated but Ohio St at the end of the year, then it's who had the better loss, SOS, and the poll position they are in the week before.

We'd win out or Stanford/Oregon, having more wins against better competition.

Does anyone remember what happened in 2007 when LSU two losses but still got in because we won our conference Championship and the others ahead of us lost theirs? A one loss SEC team providing they win the SECCG will get in because of strength of schedule, none of the other conference teams have the strength of schedule the SEC teams have, the SEC will prove it's dominance once again...

Bama is the only SEC team that has a shot at the MNC.

There will be at least 2 other undefeated teams.

If LSU is not in the title game, who cares? The last thing LSU or any fans of any other SEC team should want to see is Alabama win another title.

As a fan, I'd love to See Oregon play Clemson that should be a great game to watch.
