Should I rephrase the question to "If you wore a wedding band, your wife's name was Brittany, and you didn't already have a ring, would you wear this one?"
FWIW, if I did, I wouldn't want the corny part about being banded by your wife. But I may be getting one soon, and I was looking around. Think I want this one:

thought you were already married?
No on the bird band. The copper one will turn green, but i like the burnished finish

I have that one...came in at about 1/150th the cost of my wife's set.
The second one you posted btw...wouldn't want the first.

See if you can find a jeweler that carries Niessing wedding rings. I have a grey gold, palladium instead of nickel alloy, with a fiberglass finish. Crazy shapes and sizes, but mine round on the outside and vaulted inside.

The overriding consideration when buying a wedding band is, "How far can I throw it into the River?". You want something dense, >18ct, and rounded/aerodynamic, I recommend "comfort fit".
You can really hum those frickers.
