I was wondering if anyone could provide a stat showing LSU's record against each Manning, Archie, Peyton, & Eli. All of this talk about the ESPN special about them has me wondering. Thanks.

Eli is at a major disadvantage to his brother because of the problem with his mouth.

see, he can't close it. it is physically impossible for his lips to seal.

so even in a dome or during a clear weather game, the slobber created by a constantly-open frittata mouth makes it very difficult to throw consistently.

Won in 2000 but I don't think Eli was the QB so this seems right.

Never played Peyton as stated.

Went 1-2 vs Archie : won in 1970 lost in 69 and 71.
Think I got Archie's years right.

I played against Cooper and Payton in high school. Our record was 3-1.

1-2 vs Archie

2-1 vs Eli as a starter, 3-1 counting his RS Freshman year when he played briefly in our 20-9 win

Archie went to Ole Miss for his father. I think this "Mannings hate LSU" thing is absurd. Can anyone blame Peyton for going to Tennessee at the time? We were a dumpster fire from AD down...

Watching sec storied with Archie. I assume that's what you're referring to. Not sure if the Johnny football comparison has been made to Archie before but I see it.

Haven't read the whole thread so this may be mentioned but in '69 Archie singled handily cost us the National Championship - we best Ole Miss and it would have been LSU - Texas in the Cotton Bowl and our defense would have prevailed !

I remember the State Championship game in high school baseball, Newman vs Sacred Heart of Ville Platte in VP. Peyton playing shortstop, I think the score was tied in the bottom of the 9th, grounder to short, through the legs of Manning, run scores, Sacred Heart wins !!

Peyton or Eli going to LSU would be the equivelant of Billy Cannon's kid going to Texas A&M. A slap in the old man's face.

edit: or at least a slap in tha face of their dads' fans.
