I'm a huge defender of people shouldn't leave early. I laugh at the lame arse excuses and quasi tough guy reasons why it's none of my business. However, I didn't get too upset when people were leaving. I stayed but understood why some were leaving. They braved the rain and we had the game on ice.

We are still loud when it counts. I'm looking forward to "it's my ticket I can leave when I want".

Well if we only have two big games at home then that's what we get.

Seattle Seahawks fans disagree.

I completely agree. This is exactly what I was saying yesterday in another thread. There are plenty of times when complaints about fans leaving early are valid IMO. But last weekend wasn't one of those times. I stayed, but I understand why people left.

NO, NO, NO!!! You are completely wrong. And you obviously suck as a fan... You are supposed to come to every game and stand up and cheer as loud as you can the whole time. If you sit down for 1 minute during the UAB game then you are a POS fan. LSU used to have earthquake level games every week during the good ole days regardless of opponent or score or weather. And everyone stayed the whole game, even in the rain, and sang the Alma Mater afterwards and didn't leave until they turned off the lights. But now, all of the real fans have been priced out and we are a spoiled rotten bunch of soft, quiet little bitches. Now Tiger Stadium only gets loud once or twice a year and only if we still have national title hopes, are playing a top 5 opponent, at night, with perfect weather. Otherwise, we are the worst fans in the country.

Only night SEC game of the year. Keep your candy arse in the stadium. Wear rain gear and have fun.

I try not to waste my mental energy on getting upset with those Cheesers that do leave during the game, but frick em all. Just makes LSU look bad.

The early departers don't care though. They're all about themselves and don't really have any strong connection or love for the school.

I live four and half hours away from Baton Rouge and I'm not leaving until it's 00:00 on the ad filled scoreboard. If it's too late after the game for you, stay in a hotel and go home Sunday. If I get sleepy on the way back, I'll pull into a rest stop for a bit. If Ms.Braveheart can't handle the schedule, then she stays home because for those few nights a year, L.S.U. football is the priority. Nothing else.
