Two Ints and multiple sacks with a forced fumble. We shut Auburn out in the first half then took the foot off the gas in the second half out of mercy. Miles could've run up the score if he wanted too. Georgia hasn't faced a defense this good all season. Couple that with Murray's propensity to throw a sloppy ball and INTs sets up for a very nice win next week in Athens.

When all was said and done, the rain helped us in the first half.

Auburn wasn't even trying to throw. Once the rain stopped and they could run and pass, we got torched. Their zone read killed us.

We still could have scored on them at will, but our D has major issues.

Anyone that can't see that should just wait for the carnage that Murray and Gurley are going to unleash on us in 6 days.

We may very well outscore them, but I'll be shocked if we hold them under 35.

The middle needs to be better and Corey Thompson needs to play more.

Last game showed me that we need Ronald Martin at safety. He would have been able to cover over the top unlike Eugene. Take those two deep balls away and the stats look completely different and people stop bitching.

Not so... LSU answered two of Auburns three TD's with TD's....

Chavis has a tendency to give up yards but still contain, but that wasn't really the case tonight. They gashed us a little bit with their run game, even with a one dimensional offense. Not a terrible performance but a bit concerning.

How many sacks?

Our defense looked pretty mediocre.

Defense did look good on some drives but porous in other drives. Giving up 330yds in offense in the 2nd half is somewhat concerning, along with the fact that Tre Mason had a 132yds for a 5yd avg per carry should have people concerned. Auburn ran up the middle with ease both in the 1st & 2nd half.

The defense is going to have to play a lot better if we are going to come out of Athens with a win, they are going to have to figure out a way to stop the run period end of story. If they don't do that, then our offense is going to have to score 45pts to win.

It looked good in all aspects but one.

That is stopping the run up the middle. They were consistently getting 4-5 yds a pop. And when you are consistently giving up 4-5 yds a pop, that's a problem. We're going to have to get better in that aspect especially with Gurley running. Although, different offensive schemes between Auburn and Georgia, I think it'll be a little better. Linebackers need to blow up a hole to beat them. Murray will throw pics against our D as he's shown against other defenses. We need to stop the run to stop Georgia.

The getting gashed up the middle on what seemed like the same play over and over was a little concerning. But then again when the team had a pulse in the first half they only gave up 104 total yards

The defense looked good every drive they went away from the inside run. Everytime they ran that play, it setup other plays.

our defense is obviously not what it once was. Doesn't mean we can't get there but right now our D-line is at best average and safety position has work to do and CB's need to get better on the long passes.

6'5" Mike Evans at aTm scares me at the moment. If safety help doesn't improve by then I know he will kill us come Nov 23rd.

What game were you watching? Our d got torched. Their oline pushed our dline off the ball and gashed us up the middle all night.I was about to pull my hair out because of it. I dont get how you can think that our d looked good

I agree with you, Burt. I think our defense looked good as well. They learn quickly, and they are very opportunistic.

When the game is in doubt, the D has played well. They tend to relax with a lead, and they don't have any studs who can give 3/4 effort and still make a play, like we did the last couple of years. Will be interesting to see how they handle having to play hard for a whole game. Any problems that haven't been fixed four games in won't get fixed until the offseason, so what you see is what you get at this point.
