I personally don't think it is far off.
He is not saying that they are just alike or he could take his place right now. But if you were to compare Murray to any current NFL qb, he is most like Brees IMO.

Not terribly off if you look at both of them in college. Brees far better on the ground. I would say Murray has actually outperformed brees in college. Now NFL will probably be a totally different story.

i didnt really know so i looked up stats but aaron murray is just way better than drew brees in college. pretty hilarious.
