Man, I want to get rid of Falcao and replace him with Rooney. Call me crazy, but I've always liked stronger strikers. It's just so hard to fit Falcao with any of the other big boys without killing chemistry. There's only so many Colombians and Ligue 1 players I can stand. I want to make the transition to a BPL/La Liga/Bundesliga team. I have all the players to make it work outside of the strikers. AH! I just... love seeing that 90 overall. I guess Rooney's 87 will have to do.

I've been thinking about playing a season with the worst League 2 team and see if I can get them promoted every season and then see if I can keep them up once I get to the Premier League.

I did that with Charlton Athletic a few years back, and I've done it every year since. I usually make a pro of myself to add a little more to the experience. I'd highly recommend it.

How are you doing with the youth scouting? I signed a defensive midfielder from the Ivory Coast and the kid has a rating of 67 at the age of 16. Kid will be a beast after 5 seasons.

i play with wolfsburg, and i try to thread in passes from diego to bas dost, and 75% of the time even though i'm aiming forward and dost is making teh run, diego will inexplicably pass to a winger

I turn off the auto or air ball player changes so I can control them myself, but I have noticed crosses and corners are much harder to defend as opposed to 13. Frustrates the crap out of me.
I do like how it's pretty difficult to score goals though, making it more realistic; it took me a while to keep my finger off R2, which I used a ton in 13 to burn past people; I don't use at all on 14 since control is basically lost with a sprint.

I feel like in this year's game it is much more beneficial to have a big, strong team. Last year it was almost impossible to defend against a quick and pacey team, but now a big defender can simply push a smaller player away.

Play matches and spend a few thousand on each player you really want, you'll have a first 11 in a week of 80+ players. after that either slowly upgrade one position at a time to 85ish or buy packs and hope for the best.

what i did last year was get my team up to like 84 overall and 5 stars or something and then just bought packs from then on because it's fun. spent enough coins on packs to get studs, but my team was good enough as is.

I did it with Dagenham & Redbridge in 12. Playing World Class every match made it a major bitch, took me 6 seasons to get to the Premier League, and I didn't win it till my 12th season

ive dropped $50 or so into packs over the first two weeks. kindof ashamed, but not really. i just look at it as a replacement for a bar tab.
got lucky, got some real nice players to sell, and now have the freedom to pretty much make any squad i want, sans the 1% of the top players.
now i can just play the game, tinker with my team, and rely on my free pre-order packs that roll out one a week to satisfy my urge to gamble.

If I have never done FUT, what is the best way to get a team of 80's? I have always wanted to try. Should I pick a league and get all players from that league or get all players from the same country?
