Having a top rated defense is fantastic, but having to rely on them because your offense always goes three and out, sucks from a fan perspective.
I'd much rather have a top rated offense (with balance) and a serviceable defense. It is more exciting, and you are never out of a game because you can score quickly to get back in it if you fall behind.
I'm just hoping our young players on defense, especially the secondary starts to gel/improve so that we could have a top 10 offense and defense = CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

Cincy, I'm with your analysis...I too expect the machine to be more oiled as the year progresses...we can look for more production from the entire Offense!

That's what I want to know..........how many LSU possessions in 3 games, how many 3-and-outs, and what's the average time of possession? Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.
