Yea, it was at $.75 for a while. It is at around $5 now.

Yea, it made Franklin about $2M when it was up to around $4 so I'd say it has been a worthwhile investment.

After I use the sub for the mission, do I get to keep it? Would love to search the ocean for stuff. Also, did it say I have to steal an attack heli from the base? How hard is that?

No, but go buy the pier that is up on the northwest alongside the highway. It's like $250K. You get a sub there and missions to go find 30 pieces of nuclear waste that giver you $23K for each.

i dunno if mine is just glitched out, but Trevor definitely kept the sub. I'll see it sitting around somewhere near Trevor's locations every once in a while.


Stealing the chopper isn't terribly difficult. Drive in with a fast vehicle, go straight to the blip, hop out, use your special so they won't kill you. get into the chopper and fly off.

The default location for the sub after the mission is behind trevors hangar storage. It's just sitting there and you can get in it and everything

There is a sonar station that you can purchase that provides a sub for exploration though.

Whew makes me feel better. I am in a Viper up near there now and saved it with me in the car so maybe, just maybe (hopefully) I will spawn in it. I'm betting I will spawn by his truck though.

Stealing the cargobob was a hilarious escapade for me. For something that turned out to be so easy, I failed about 5 times in different ways before just ramming through the checkpoint with an Infernus and driving right up to the cockpit.

Does anyone play with auto-aim disabled. Picking up the game today, and I've already played a good bit on a friends copy. My only gripe was that the shooting mechanics seemed way too dumbed down.

The mechanics are basically like Red Dead Redemption's, which I think is fine. I don't turn off aim assist because I find it hard to aim in third-person shooters without turning sensitivity way down.

Mongo have heavy thumbs.

Id take the auto aim off if I could see the reticle better. Even with the legit reticle that isn't just a dot, I can never find it. Making it whet was dumb.

Works fine early on, but once you run into tougher enemies you need the auto aim plus cover to survive.

With shooting range leveling up, is auto aim automatically taken off...just got the game two days ago and am finding those challenges kind of meticulous

No, auto aim is an option in itself, regardless of your shooting ability level.

Misread your question, yes auto-aim is turned off when you are doing the shooting range challenges
