Haven't heard from the Houla but the boys around Monroe killed a few and saw bunches arriving this afternoon. I would like to see the LDWF do another survey this week. Sounds like the teal were just a few days late migrating.

Heard a dog barking down I the delta before shooting time this morning. Alligators everywhere. Hell we gator hunted there last week

Somebody loses one every few years around our camp. You hear they aren't active in winter, then they eat half your ducks or you watch them eat another gator while sipping eggnog in blind. Mine was 85lbs and wife says gator chomped down on him like a snack cake.

My lab is 55 lbs. I think after reading this thread I might have just retired her though...
