Hi Hat! Missed ya.

I just watched my tape. I don't really like the tryouts much. Like some of you have said, the plants are just silly and a waste of my precious time.

I only really liked Lillie with the big hair. There were some other good performances, but I feel like they'll be limited and probably won't do as well with assigned songs. The couple was cute and I enjoyed it, but I just don't know that they'll have enough variety to keep going. Every song can't sound like that one and I barely heard the guy's voice. The girl with the disability is cute, but I sure didn't think she was Carrie Underwood good. I think Simon is sentimental because he's got a child on the way.

Hope it's a good season, but it's going to have to get better than tonight!
