I don't know a whole lot about that situation but why would CCB deal wih Widmer? They're not technically a craft brewery right?

I think CCB does it's best to play nicely with all of the other breweries. In many if not most cases I've said that those breweries collaborating with CCB stand more to gain than CCB does in the deal when you consider the notoriety and power of CCB's brand.
