So it's an article about an article about an article.

I'm not a huge fan of Whitlock but its nice to see someone calling out Evans for what he is.

After reading the article; some of it probably goes on everywhere: including Vandy and Notre Dame and Stanford.

Saban used to bully people to ensure grades were OK for the kids to play.

DiNardo did the same thing. Cecil Collins could not write....but he could expose himself to classmates.

If you read all of it; its hard to tell what constitues fraud and what just might be poor policy and decision making.

Exactly. Whitlock is the same idiot that said the NRA is the modern day KKK. If you read anything he writes on race or gun control, he is as much of a hack as there is.

I disagree he's a hack. He is a good writer. There are some things he says I agree with. There are other things he says that I can see are well thought out....but I disagree with because I don't hold the same core belief about it. Doesn't mean he's bad, just he thinks different. But point is, he does think. Doesn't just spout rhetoric. And that makes him not a hack

He’s simpleminded. He’s a hack that can’t write.

Pot calling the kettle bla...

Oops. Can I say that?

But, in this case, Whitlock is right.

Edit: O/U on this report getting to part 5 before lawsuits are filed against Evans and SI?

It's interesting how ESPN is fine with their hosts/guests (i.e. Dan Dakich on "Coach and Company" ) bashing Miles, but how dare they bash another reporter!!

ESPN unhappy with Whitlock

Although I support him for calling out Evans, I have no sympathy for Whitlock when it comes to ESPN. He has for years bitched in print about the way ESPN conducts its business, only to go to work for them again. He deserves whatever criticism he gets.
