if Rashard Robinson is on the verge of supplanting any of our starting DBs -- *any* of them -- after being on campus only 2 weeks, then he must be on the verge of some kind of Dre' Bly freshman campaign. And Bly was a RS Freshman.

Why all the love for Mills? He constantly is getting burned, and out of position, not just the TD passes.

Let the coaches put who they think is best on the field.

We are a spoiled group of fans (which is a good thing).

LSU has a starting group of DBs and LBs that most schools would only dream to have. LSU has so many talented freshmen on the squad that keeping the starting job is in jeopardy for some.

I have confidence the coaches will handle the situation appropriately and the players that give us the best chance to win will be on the field.

But if it's a Rantard favorite that is being replaced, the coaches must be wrong. Right?

not be rail thin... Rashard Robinson needs to put on weight and muscle before he can and will become a starter in the SEC... 6'2 164 will not cut it

Freshman cornerback Tre'Davious White could be moved into the starting lineup as early as Saturday's game against Kent State in place of Jalen Collins. He may eventually be joined as a starter by fellow freshman Rashard Robinson, who joined the team less than two weeks ago. Both have been impressive with their one-on-one cover skills in practice.

When that happens, starting cornerback Jalen Mills will likely move to the third cornerback spot and Collins to the bench. Micah Eugene is currently the nickel corner but he may move into the starting lineup in place of safety Ronald Martin.

White is way better in run support than Collins. UAB ran several sweeps and Collins wanted no part of taking on the kick out blocks to force inside. We have been spoiled with excellent run stoppers at corner for several years that could also cover. Jalen needs to be the nickel back, its that simple. He is definitely the weakest link in the backfield.

I think Robinson might be our best cover guy, right now. He also has a nose for the ball and plays physical run support. I really think Robinson is going to be the starter. Micah Eugene is a guy I don't really have a feel for?

The one guy that's disappointed me is Loston. He is very serviceable but he had so much accolades and hype that I thought he would be starting earlier in his career. I think he is very physical but takes bad angles. I'm not sure if he overestimates his speed or what the problem is but his pursuit skills are lacking. His foot speed is probably his biggest weakness and it hurts him in coverage. I think he physicality is needed but I can see Georgia burning the seams on him and working him with post corners.

4. Tre white had 6 tackles and I can't remember him actually missing any and he looked the part. It don't matter how big you are if you taking bad angles and wiff on tackles all day. Tackling is an art.

He also let a wr run right by him in the end zone that would've been a sure TD had the qb saw him.

I like it, but I'd be very surprised if we went to this before the UGA game. After UGA, I could see it happening though.

I think Micah replacing Ronald Martin will definitely happen in the Kent State or Auburn game.

I'm not so sure that the staff will start two FR corners though. I hope so. People are loving Mills, but he's yet to really impress me. TCU didn't have a receiver who was a playmaker and he got torched on that one pass against UAB.

The best aspect of this discussion is that we have the depth to even have this conversation.

After listening to the Miles press conference, it seems that Kleinpeter's source had good information.
