An astute observation by "falcndave": quote:I'd give the credit to Colston. That was a ridiculous catch on the TD pass. We held Brees to 23...extremely acceptable. I'm going to give Jackson (the drop) and Julio (the fumble) and Baker (the undone 3rd down conversion on the hold) big assist on the Saints victory. What is the difference in wins and losses on the road in the division...fumble, drop, hold. That is all it takes.
Yeah, he whines about the only CALLED hold. They were holding fairly often, just got caught once. I love how a "clearly inferior team" owns your team. Also, how many Superbowls has that clearly superior team won? Falcons are a joke of an organization with delusional fans.

There's no way around it and no moral victories. Their offense couldn't run, and our corners did pretty good shutting down what is, for most teams, average receivers. Their defense is a worse lineup than last year full of players that don't even fit their scheme. Yet our o-line got manhandled by a bunch of backups, we couldn't run outside of one nice play, and the defense was leaving people wide open in the middle. The Saints are probably a .500 team at best this year, we can't have these losses anymore

Why would I be mad about losing a plain ol' regular season game? Better question is why would you be so happy about it?

I love how he points to Falcon mistakes, but ignores the 2 holding penalties (one of which was total horse shite) in the redzone after the Stills reception.

He also ignores that Brees was still able to shred their D while having a less than stellar performance (under throwing a couple deep balls and putting balls behind his receivers instead of leading them, especially on that INT). If he wants to If and but, then I'll do the same, and the Saints would win 37-17 at least.
