Match today perhaps gives me more reason for optimism than the first mainly because we were far from perfect but did some things we haven't done the past two seasons:

1) get off to a lackluster start and actually change tactics as well as determination and turn the match around

2) still get 3 points on the road against a mid table side while not playing at our best

3) not only protect a 1 goal lead in the waning minutes but add an insurance goal as well

There's definitely some things to fix in the defense but Antonio Cassano isn't the easiest player to deal with either and getting the 9 points in three matches against the mid table is precisely where we've not kept up with Napoli, Milan etc the past couple of years.

Very good second half. That first goal was a beauty.

The defense is a little shaky, but overall I was impressed.
