I have two Nikon Buckmasters and I think they are great scopes especially for the money.
Yes, there are better scopes out there but for the amount if time I deer hunt they are fine. Now if it were an big money elk or moose hunt, if spend more but for local deer hunting with shots in the 100-300 yd range they are fine.

I have a $200ish nikon on my .30-30 and I hate it. It's got the "looking through a tube" effect big time, if that makes any sense.
